Solar Energy Projects
Saturday, July 5th, 2008
Just as things were actually heating up in solar energy sector, U.S. Bureau Land Management pulled plug on unique solar power plants. Last week the New York Times reported that “federal government has placed a moratorium on original solar projects on public land until it studies their environmental impact, which is likely to obtain about two years.” Headlines similar to world’s major solar array in California or world’s chief solar power plant in Mojave arid region promised to be little and far between as BLM determined to take its time to assess more than 130 proposals filed by solar companies in past three years. Just days later, after an uproar of voiced concern, the moratorium was reversed.

While we are listening carefully on outlook forward designs that are altering our world, and this strictly is not plan information, we could not help but pay notice to policy information. There is a clear connection between green building and policy that has rippling effects throughout the design world.
